HBAC Water Birth Sneak Peak | Grand Rapids Birth Photographer

It is always a privilege to witness new life - and I had the joy of photographing a beautiful birth this week. Since I can't wait until I finish editing the whole birth story to share, here is a sneak peak! This was a gorgeous, redemptive HBAC (home birth after cesarean) water birth after two cesareans and a hospital VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean).

Many more gorgeous images to come, but for now, here are a few photographs that capture the beauty and strength of this mom during active labor, transition, and immediately after giving birth to her 4th baby at home. Birth and new life are incredible! The support of skilled midwives and the constant presence of her adoring husband bring tears to my eyes. Congratulations!
