postpartum doula support

with Brianna Trammell, ANNICA Quakenbush, OR ELISHA DEVRIES

The transition to parenting a(nother) newborn is not one that we are meant to do in isolation. Even with involved and wonderful partners, family, and/or friends - we at Sprout and Blossom so value the addition of a postpartum doula in the months following birth. Someone who knows and respects what you need, and what you don’t need.

Sometimes it is difficult to instruct those who mean well and want to be helpful.

we anticipate our clients’ needs

For example, rather than asking, “how can I help?” your doula may say “is the laundry in the hallway dirty or clean?” and then they will wash or fold (and PUT AWAY) that laundry.

All of our postpartum doulas are kind, caring, and gentle. We listen attentively, and we are reassuring and thoughtful.
